Getting started

Bring one source.

Make an edit, review it, and keep the version you want.

Open Oscar

Start with your material.

Writing

Open Writing, paste your text or open a file, then run Oscar Clear. Use See Example to try a prepared paragraph.

Open Writing

Music and speech

Drop a recording. For music, use Master Music when offered. For speech, choose an edit, tighten pauses, or finish the sound.

Video

Drop a video. Use Autoedit Video or Find Clips, then review the video and transcript together. Open Finish for captions, music, pauses, and sound.

Media files can be up to 20 minutes. Full Track Art Clips support audio up to 5 minutes.

Edit through the transcript.

  1. Use Autoedit Video or Find Clips to generate the transcript with timed words.
  2. Click a timestamp to listen. Select words to remove a passage, or use Remove on a sentence.
  3. Review the removed text and play the cut. Restore a passage or use Undo if you change your mind.
  4. Adjust the selection and finishing controls until the result feels right.

The edits refer to ranges in your source. They do not render a new video each time you change the transcript.

Compare and restore.

Play the result before exporting. Use Undo and Redo to review changes, or Restore original to return to your source.

Your current music or video session is saved in this browser when storage is available. It is not a cloud backup; clearing site data or changing browsers will not carry that work over.

Keep your finished version.

Use Export Audio or Export Video in the workspace. Video rendering happens at export; keep the tab open until it finishes. For writing, copy the version you approve.
