What 30 credits can do

Up to 15 short Clear edits, 7 page-length Clear edits, 75 minutes of fresh AI Edit, or 30 music finalizations.

Manual editing and previews do not use AI Credits. Completed audio and video exports use export minutes; writing does not. Credits reserved for failed intelligent operations are returned.

A few things worth knowing

Can I cancel anytime? Is there a cancellation fee?

Yes. Open Manage plan in your account menu and choose Cancel subscription. There is no cancellation fee. Cancellation stops your next renewal, and access continues through your paid period. Your Oscar account stays open. Cancellation does not automatically issue a refund.

What uses AI Credits?

Oscar Clear uses 2 credits up to 200 words and 4 credits up to 500. Transcription uses 1 credit per five-minute block. AI Edit and Best Clips use 2 credits per five-minute block, including transcription. Music finalization uses 1 credit.

What are export minutes?

Export minutes follow the duration of finished audio and video. Writing never uses export minutes, and previews do not count.

Do credits roll over?

Free credits remain available for the lifetime of the account. Paid-plan credits reset each calendar month and do not roll over.

Does Oscar process media in the cloud?

Ordinary editing, preview, and export run locally where supported. Transcript-based features temporarily upload compressed audio for cloud transcription; account, decision, and usage services also run in the cloud.

Can I switch between monthly and yearly later?

Yes. Yearly billing saves 20% and is billed annually.
